The TriRate is a complete triaxial angular rate sensor (gyro) designed for OEM customers that require a 3D (triaxial) gyro in a custom SMT package measuring 18mm x 18mm x 10mm in size. The TriRate MEMS gyro can easily be incorporated into existing designs requiring general-purpose triaxial angular rate measurements.
The TriRate is a complete triaxial angular rate sensor based on a surface-micromachining technology capable of sensing angular motion about three orthogonal axes. The TriRate provides analog outputs for angular rate and precision references about the X, Y, and Z axes. A temperature output is also provided allowing the implementation of compensation techniques. Two digital self-test inputs electromechanically excite each axis to test proper operation of both sensors and the signal conditioning circuits. The TriRate is provided in a custom SMT package measuring 18mm x 18mm x 10mm.

Standard operating temperature range is 0C to 70C, however this can be increase to -40C to +85C with the military specification unit.
Gyro rates are typically 150, 300, 600 or 1200 deg/s, although up to 6000 deg/s is possible. Custom bandwidths of 25-400Hz are also available. Please contact us directly for pricing and availability for any options not listed below.

Analogue Interface Board.
AIB01
Analog Interface Board will interface the TriRate products for system level testing. The dual sided component board provides buffered analog outputs for the TriRate data. In addition, buffered voltage references and temperatures for each gyro axis are provided. The Board will be soldered in the factory to your TriRate to ease integration.
