Multi-Point Air Velocity Probes & PA267 Differential Pressure Sensor.

A multi-point air velocity system using the PA267 differential pressure sensor and AV-EP or AC-MPS air velocity probes. This system can be used to ensure that recommended flow rates for public buildings and industrial plant are achieved. Suitable for flow ranges of 0 - 40m/s.

Product details

Air Velocity Probes - AV-EP

FEATURES
  • Mounting plate to suit flat, round and oval ducts
  • Double gasket seals the probe to the duct
  • Available in lengths from 100mm to 600mm
  • Push on connectors to suit PA-TUBE-8mm
  • Ideal for small attenuators
  • Perfect for fresh air inlet louvres
Note: The AV-EP must be mounted a minimum of 2m away from any bends, fans, heating batteries etc. in the duct-work. Always point the flow direction arrow on the probe flange into the air flow.

Air Velocity Probes - AV-MPS

FEATURES
  • Mounting plate to suit flat ducts
  • Double gasket seals the probe to the duct
  • Available in lengths from 700mm to 2000mm
  • Push on connectors to suit PA-TUBE-8mm
A Multi-point Air Velocity Sensor for use in larger ducts or where turbulent airflow is likely to be encountered. Stainless steel construction is used for the tubing and all gaskets are provided.

The AV-EP & AV-MPS sensors can be connected to a PA-267, or PA-699, Differential Pressure Sensor of an appropriate range (please refer to datasheet  below for further information). The output of both sensors represents the velocity pressure and is defined by the following equation:

Differential Pressure Sensor - PA-267

FEATURES
  • Two accuracy levels to suit different applications
  • Available in ranges as low as 0-25Pa
  • Integral LCD option
  • IP65 housing with 20mm cable entry and gland
  • Duct fixing kit included
The PA267 is used for accurate air velocity measurement in applications such as variable fan speed control in VAV applications. If the BEMS control system is not capable of calculating the velocity from the differential pressure reading (performing a square root extraction) then an IO-VP/AV module can be used to provide a velocity output to the controller
