RWT Series Dynamic Rotary Transducer For Torque, Speed & Power Measurements
Dynamic Rotary Torque Sensor for Torque and Speed or Power Measurements with internal electronics. Available with ranges 0-500mNm to 0-10000 Nm. Brushless non contact technology ensures trouble free operation and long sensor life. The RWT31x units come with analogue outputs for torque measurements, whilst the RWT32x unit also has RS232 or USB output to interface with TorqView Windows software, which provides a PC real time graphical display and full data logging facility.
TorqSense Digital RWT series transducers with integral electronics are available in three different body sizes for torque ranges up to 10,000Nm. The series offers a cost effective, non-contact digital rotary torque measurement solution, using Surface Acoustic Wave technology, suitable for torque monitoring, testing or controlling drive mechanisms. TorqSense RWT31x/32x series transducers and their technology are particularly appropriate for OEM applications.

BIT Self-diagnostics for letting the manufacturer know that the transducer torque or speed ratings have not been exceeded and the transducer's last calibration date

Simple 'fail' output pin
The TorqSense RWT32x transducers offers, these additional features:
2 x user selectable voltage or current analog outputs (one for torque and the other for speed, power or peak torque)
Digital outputs such as RS232 and USB for interfacing with modern instrumentation and laptops
Digital input for configuring transducer via PC
BIT Self-diagnostics for letting users know data is trustworthy, that the transducer torque or speed ratings have not been exceeded and the transducer's calibration date
Transducer configuration software to allow user to changes transducer variables
Ability to connect up to 10 transducers using USB
Torque ranges available at any full scale torque: 500mNm to 10,000Nm, with above 10,000Nm on request.
First Annual Recalibration is included in the purchase price. Units must be returned to Omni Instruments for Recalibration.
