AccelRate3D-Triaxial Accelerometer and Gyro

The AccelRate3D Sensor is the worlds smallest analogue inertial measurement unit, providing analog outputs of triaxial acceleration and triaxial angular rate (gyro). AcceleRate3D product suite is capable of sensing between 150 - 1200s angular rate and 2, 5 & 10g acceleration about 3 axes.

The AccelRate3D is the world’s smallest analog inertial measurement unit, providing analog outputs of triaxial acceleration and rate of turn (gyro) data. The AccelRate3D also provides precision references for the X, Y, and Z-axes as well as temperature outputs allowing the implementation of compensation techniques. A digital self-test input electromechanically excites each axis to test proper operation of both sensors and the signal conditioning circuits. The AccelRate3D is available in a custom SMT package measuring 18 × 18 × 10 mm

Standard operating temperature range is 0C to 70C, however this can be increase to -40C to +85C with the military specification unit.

AccelRate 3D's have three ranges, +/-2g, +/-5g and +/-10g. Gyro rates are typically 150, 300, 600 or 1200 deg/s. Custom bandwidths of 25-400Hz are also available. Please contact us directly for pricing and availability for any options not listed below.

Also, your AccelRate 3D device can be mounted onto an Analog Interface Board to simplify prototyping and development.

Interface Board 

AIB01

Analog Interface Board will interface the AccelRate 3D product for system level testing. The dual sided component board provides buffered analog outputs for the AccelRate data. In addition, buffered voltage references and temperatures for each gyro axis are provided. The Board will be soldered in the factory to your AccelRate to ease integration.
